Kristian Dahle Trygstad graduated from the Law School at The University of Oslo (Spring 2004). He wrote his thesis on public procurement as an assistant
lecturer in the Departement of Private Law. He published "Awarding Public Procurements" in the fall of 2006. The book covers
the legal issues concerning the award of tenders. He worked for a year on the Complaints committee for public procurement
(KOFA), and then two years as an employee of The Parliamentary Ombudsman.
During these two years, Trygstad had two leaves of absence to assist in the investigation of the Armed Forces, with respect to their purchasing practice of IT equipment. In the first period he sat as legal councel on a commission of inquiry appointed by the Government in the spring of 2006, then in the Armed Forces continued investigation on the matter in the fall of 2006 and spring of 2007. Since November 2007 he has been employed at G-Partner. In addition he will be working with a committee which composes new regulations for public commissions of inquiry.
